West Side Story – Manila

There were a few who were able to watch the Press screening of “WEST SIDE STORY” Manila and though most of the viewers were fascinated and happy about the turn out of the theater show, there were some suggestions that will help so the next performances would be much grander.

Joanna Ampil’s performance of Maria was great. The way she acts and sings were very impressive. Though, there were assumptions if Karylle would fair well.

Christian Bautista’s performance of the role of Tony was a great too. They say they can’t imagine any other Filipino actor who would fit for the role like Christian. His acting and singing were good but could use a little improvement. The Volume of his voice could use a little lift, and his Dancing skills a bit of polishing. He could use some hand gestures while singing rather than just standing in place.
