Nurse Jackie is about a longtime Emergency Room (ER) nurse who struggles to find a delicate balance between the demands of her job at a New York City hospital and an array of personal dramas.
In the pilot episode, nurse Jackie tried bending the rules to bring some good from a patient’s senseless death, while concealing her addiction to a pain killer she gets from her boyfriend, the hospital pharmacist.
