Vhong and Toni’s ‘My Only U’ Showing on October 15

It has been confirmed that Star Cinema will be doing a comeback movie for Vhong Navarro and Toni Gonzaga. It has been three years since the last two actors’ team project. Remember that “D Anothers” was a big hit when it was released.  This year’s new film will be showing on October 15, 2008 and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, one of the best and box office films director in the country today.

The new movie is titled “My Only U.” It was originally called “Amnesia Girl,” however, GMA Films also has a new film coming out by Iza Calzado titled “Amnesia.” The said GMA Film was to be released next year, but after the recent press release about ABS-CBN’s new movie, they (GMA) decided to release Iza’s movie this year as well.

Toni’s role in “My Only U” is about a dying girl who fell in love with a man. But of course, knowing that Vhong will be the partner, it will definitely be a tear jerker but also a tummy killer for laughs.
