The Kapuso network can undoubtedly boast that it has the most beautiful young stars in its fold. GMA 7 has Angel Locsin, Iza Calzado, Nadine Samonte, Iwa Moto, Isabel Oli, Pauleen Luna, Cindy Kurleto, Katrina Halili and the promising Marian Rivera.

Marian was then a favorite face in afternoon drama shows opposite Oyo Boy Sotto. Now she plays the mother of young Sha-sha and Tin-tin in GMA’s “Super Twins” and the pregnant wife of Alfred Vargas in “Muli”.

Because she accepted two mother roles, Marian has been the latest target of intrigues saying she is too desperate to have a career.

Some quarters believe she’s too young to play such roles while her contemporaries are going the sexy route.

In an interview with Paolo Bediones over SFiles, Marian said as a newcomer, she has no right to say no to such beautiful projects being offered to her by GMA 7. She said she is just so happy the network is giving her good roles.

She also denied rumors that something special is going on between her and Gabby Eigenmann. Marian said they become friends because they’re together in both projects, Muli and in Super Twins.

Paolo cannot say it any better. Marian is too beautiful to be called “desperada” or desperate.
