Who would forget German Moreno’s That’s Entertainment TV program aired in GMA 7 in the late 80s?
It was a TV program that produced the most number of bankable stars, matinee idols, great actors and actresses as well as international celebrities like Lea Salonga and Billy Crawford.
Among That’s Entertainment Stars that are still popular until now are Sheryl Cruz, Manilyn Reynes, Lotlot de Leon, Ruffa Gutierrez, Vina Morales, Rachel Alejandro, Ara Mina, Rita Avila, Patricia Javier, Bing Loyzaga, Jennifer Sevilla, Jean Garcia, Janno Gibbs, Jojo Alejar, Jestoni Alarcon, Romnick Sarmenta, and John Regala to name a few.
These actors and actresses should definitely thank Kuya Germs, their mentor.
It was through the defunct program that these stars were able to develop their talents as well as gain confidence and much-needed esxposure.
Kuya Germs has never ceased helping aspiring talents to make a name in showbiz.
Even with his “Master Showman”, Kuya Germs has good singers and hosts to entertain the viewers who are very instrumental in making his “Walang Tulugan” program a success.
Kuya Germs also organized an event called “Walk of Fame” to honor those celebrities who have made their mark in showbiz.
Just recently, Billy Crawford joined the growing number of stars honored at the Walk of Fame in Eastwood in Libis, Quezon City. Other celebrities who received their own star at the Walk of Fame” include Sharon Cuneta, Lea Salonga, Judy Ann Santos, Maricel Soriano, Vilma Santos, Rudy Fernandez, Senator Bong Revilla, Aga Muhlach, Richard Gomez, Robin Padilla, Cesar Montano and other senior stars.
