The Original Marimar is Pregnant

Thalia, the original star of the hit Mexican telenovela Marimar, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child. The 35-year-old singer is expected to give birth in a few months.

Thalia married music mogul Tommy Mottola in December 2000. It will be Tommy’s third child since he has two children from a previous marriage.

Reports said Thalia’s pregnancy is going well and she is healthy, happy and full of energy.

In 2005, Thalia took part in the March of Dimes Campaign to educate women about reducing their risks of having premature babies.

The Latin sensation is so excited to have a baby and she promises to be the best mother� she can be.

We Filipinos couldn’t simply forget Thalia. She had a number of hit telenovelas aside from Marimar. Among them are Maria del Barrio, Maria Mercedes and Rosalinda.
