Suicide in Prince Plaza Makati
I just heard some reports that somebody jumped/pushed over at Prince Plaza along dela rosa in Makati. Somebody said the person hit the pavement while other said the person got caught in the Meralco wires and was electrocuted which also resulted in a brownout of the surrounding area.
Anybody in the area who can give light on what happened? (pls enter your comments/reports below).

Yes, it’s true, and the said person hit the Meralco lines that causes the transformer to exlpode. my colleagues working on the same area confirmed it. they are experiencing brownout in their buidling. though i’m still waiting for the official report.
yep that’s true. i guess he fell on the wires and on the tree. when i got there the ambulance already got the body out of the way. the only thing left was the blood,shoes and small branch of a tree. people were gathering around to see what really happen down there.

yes it’s true, my sister works near the building and said that the power surge in the area was caused by a guy getting caught in the meralco wires after falling off a building. no news yet if the guy was pushed or committed suicide.

It’s true. It happened this morning. We work in a building nearby and there was a second or two when the electricity went out. The guar of our floor came rushing to tell us that he saw a man jump from Prince Plaza. We tried to look out the window but we can only see a small crowd infront of Prince Plaza. The guard said he was looking out the window when he saw the guy on top (or in a balcony, not sure) of the building, looking down and then sudddenly jumped. That’s according to what the guard said. There was no foul play, the guard on our floor was a witness that the guy was alone, that the guy climbed over the rail and jumped.
i am a resident of prince plaza, and the guy jumped from the pool area which is on my floor (topmost floor). we woke up after hearing an explosion. moments later, the power went out. i walked outside to see some staff pointing at where the guy jumped, and where he landed, which was on dela rosa st.
from what i heard, he landed on the tree, and got caught on the power lines, got electrocuted, which made the transformer explode, and then hit the ground.
a bell boy was hailing a cab when this happened, by the sidewalk… he said he was hailing a cab when on his right he felt and saw this sudden explosion and saw a body hit the ground. he was asked to later identify the body if he was a guest in the condotel or a resident, they have confirmed that he is a resident of our building.
such a tragic incident. he was only 24 years old and was said to work at HSBC. He left his wallet and fone at the small gazebo by the pool area.
also, the pool area is always locked. when you want to swim, you have to talk to the guards and have them open the doors for you. apparently, the guy used the stairwell to go up to the deck and down the pool area. i guess there really wasn’t any foul play.
i saw cops coming in and they even had to unlock the door to get to the pool area.
cops, a news crew, and SOCO were at the scene right away. Meralco restored the power 2 hours later.

yes its true, me my girlfriend is in pldt MGO building when it happened, it caused power outage for about 3 sec, then when we went out, i saw a body lying on the floor just below the prince plaza. It was scary, we are the first ones to get there.
yup that’s true biglang nag brown out sa bldg namin (pldt) nag panic kami kala namin me nag explode… lakas kasi ng vibrations… nag cause ng brown out… nung me nakakita sa window tinignan din namin… shocking! can’t forget his face and body… naka black shirt and maong pants… naka socks lang siya na black din at ung isa kalahati lang naka suot sa foot niya… tragic! kakakilabot… sad to say mga 30mins bago siya nakuha ng ambulance…

i just signed out from work that time . . . about past 10am when i took that bridge going to landmark . . . i saw a crowd there . . . when i check it out its a body lying down there . . . i find scary actually because thats the first time i saw an actual dead body . . .

bakit ang dami nagpapakamatay na lumulundag pa sa building? may koreano japon, pilipino etc.baka naman force to jump off sila dahil sa sugal o utang?? ngayon mga yuppies at mga batang mayayaman kahit hi school pa nga …sumasali sa sugal…by cellphone lang!! mga ending ng NBA, UAAP,kabayo etc..ang dami ngayon mga bata na nagpapakamatay!!!hi-tech na rin ang mga syndicates..Its such a waste to think that a young promising professional would just jump off for nothing!!! i have my serious doubts…why commit suicide on a pay-day?? unless…..bless their souls…these young people!!

Yes its true…. very tragic,,,goosebumps moment….
it’s not suicide. he’s my friend and he’s a VICTIM. it’s 100% foul play. for all those officials “INVESTIGATING” the case, better get your stories straight or you might lose the thread of all your lies. SOMEBODY’s watching from above.
I am one of the healthcare worker who attended when the ambulance came to our hospital.But when we saw him, the doctor pronounce dead on arrival. As I hook leads of the cardiac monitor on him for confirmation, I prayed to find peace and justice. My condolences to all his beloved ones
wtf…you guys keep on posting without even knowing anything…he was NOT a tenant at prince plaza…he was 27 years old not 24…
how could someone get to the TOP FLOOR of a POSH condominium without getting stopped by building security???
where are the CCTV cameras of a supposedly HIGH-END building???
too many questions surround his death…
