
Manila,Philippines - Around 3:45pm, the solar eclipse has started and by around 4:30pm I took this photo on my stock Nikon D40 (kit lens). I wish I had those long lens. But anyway, here’s how it looks.
I just mounted my camera on a tripod, put it the settings to “S”, and then placed a couple of old negatives in front of the lens. Very crude but at least I’ve captured the Solar Eclipse.
