Ruffa excited for a ‘Desperadas’ part 2

Ruffa Gutierrez is happy and satisfied for the box-office success of her movie Desperadas.

At the Saporti Trattoria restaurant in Greenhills yesterday, she said “Natutuwa naman ako na kumita. Nalampasan naming yung ibang entries. Number 4 kami which is very good considering na one week lang sa festival. Very good performance at the box office even with a New Year opening. Ngayon po, showing pa rin. Sana suportahan nila.”

The film is an entry by Regal Films in the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival. With her in the movie were Rufa Mae Quinto, Iza Calzado, and Marian Rivera.

She confessed that there is a bit of frustration that their movie opened on a later date.

“Talagang, I’ve made new sisters in this film. I found new sisters and I think it’s gonna be really kuwela na magkaroon kami ng sequel. And is Mother Lily ginagawa na yung script ngayon kaya excited ako for the Desperadas part 2,” she concluded.
