Richard Wants to Reduce E-VAT to 8 Percent

This actor knows what he’s fighting for. Richard Gomez who’s running for senate as an inedpendent candidate has been getting endorsements these past few days. He recently got the support of Mother Lily Monteverde, Susan Roces and now, Genuine Opposition Senatorial Candidate John Osmeña.

Osmeña happens to be a good friend of Lucy Torres’ dad, Manuel.

Gomez and Osmeña also agreed on one thing — the need to reduce E-vat. They both believed that E-vat should be reduced to 8 percent from 12 percent because the public including the poor are also affected by this.

Richard even said senior citizens who are supposed to be entitled to a 20 percent discount “get into the trap of E-vat.”

The movie industry is also affected by E-vat so Richard promises that if he wins, he would� fight E-vat and help the showbiz industry as well
