Rejoice! “Desperadas” Will Push Through

The controversial Regal movie “Desperadas” had its first shooting day last July 10. Only Ruffa Gutierrez from the original cast stars in the film which appears to be a Filipino version of the hit TV series Desperate Housewives.

Mother Lily earlier announced that Desperadas will feature the four most beautiful and interesting stars namely Ruffa G., Gretchen Barreto, Dawn Zulueta and Pops Fernandez.
�
Both Gretchen and Dawn declined to push through with the project due to their feud which happened when they were shooting a TV ad for Pantene.
�
Pops is busy doing a series of shoiws abroad. So it’s only Ruffa who is retained from the original powerhouse cast.
�
But please don’t lose your interest in this film. Replacing Gretchen, Dawn and Pops are equally beautiful but younger talents, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Iza Calzado and Marian Rivera.
Talk about girl power!

I hope this movie makes it in the box office. This will be Regal Films’ Metro Manila Filmfest entry for January 1, 2008.
