“First time ito!”
This was the statement that entertainment media and press members gave after they have come to a decision to finally walk out during the press launch of the endorsers of Pantene shampoo last night, April 28, at the poolside of the Intercontinental Manila, Makati City.
The media outfits of print and television decided to just leave the venue of the press launch due to their long hours of waiting for the four endorsers for the Most Beautiful campaign of Pantene. The endorsers were obviously no other than Ruffa Gutierrez, Gretchen Barreto, Judy Ann Santos and Claudine Barreto.
According to the invitation for the event, it was stated that the registration will start at 6:30 in the evening and the opening of the cocktails will follow by 7:30. The press people started arriving before 7:00, but like any corporate events, the program started late. It was almost 8:00 when the cocktails were open and it took about an hour to formally start the program. They might have followed the traditional ‘Filipino Time’ to keep the press waiting.
