Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties is an adult graphic adventure game released for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer back in 1994. It was produced by Kirin Entertainment.

In the game, the player acts as a plumber trying to woo over a woman. Gameplay consisted of a series of still photographs with audio clips of characters talking, followed by occasional player choices on story direction. The choices determined whether or not John, the man, would win over Jane, the woman. More often than not, the choices would be wrong, and the game would force you to sit through another round of choices.

The game never gained widespread popularity and is often considered to be an example of a poorly designed video game.

This game was reviewed by the Angry Video Game Nerd on July 21, 2009, who bluntly stated, “If you can even really call this a game, it is the worst game I’ve ever played. And that is saying A LOT.”
