Pieta Premieres October 27, 2008

This afternoon premieres Ryan Agoncillo’s newest television series that will surely stir a lot of emotions of views from all over.  The story was taken from a known komiks classic creator, Carlo J. Caparas. The said story was made into a film starred by Charito Solis and Ace Vergel way back in 1983.

Ryan says this is his most daring and challenging role ever in the Philippine entertainment industry.  He plays the role with another versatile and very good actress, Ms. Cherie Gil who plays his mother.

The teleserye is directed by Don Cuaresma and Toto Natividad.  It is a story of son who learned and grew up fighting for his right and the ones he love while his mother shares the grief every minute that his son feels alone and beaten down.

Among the cast are John Regala, Krista Ranillo, Jestoni Alarcon, Janus del Prado, Jason Abalos, John James Uy, Lyka Ugarte, Neil Ryan Sese. With guest appearances of Joross Gamboa, Paul Salas, Baron Geisler, Alessandra De Rossi, and Ynez Veneracion.

Pieta is shown every Mondays thru Fridays after Wowowee.
