For the upcoming Paquiao-Dela Hoya Boxing match in Las Vegas, Karylle will be singing the Philippine National Anthem. Aside from this, there have been rumors that Karylle will also be leaving her mother studio, GMA - 7 to be with her mom, Zsa Zsa Padilla in ABS-CBN Channel 2. But according to Oliver Oliveros, who is currently the publicist of STAGES, “We don’t have official word yeet if Karylle is moving to ABS-CBN or not,” he said.

Oliveros was also asked if it is confirmed that Karylle did not accept the offer of singing the National Anthem at MGM Grand Hotel Garden in Los Angeles for fear of seeing Dingdong Dantes who also plans to go to Las Vegas after their show on December 5.

But Olivers just said, “Karylle will go to Las Vegas to sing the National Anthem for Manny Pacquiao’s big fight. It’s a commitment she gave to Manny.”

During the celebration of Boy Abunda’s birthday last Sunday at “The Buzz,” Boy admitted that kris Aquino’s message made him cry. “Oo, kasi si Kris naman she’s the other sister that I never had. Na-ano rin ako, actually, I was very, very touched sa message ni Kris kasi 100 lang ‘yan sa pinagdadaanan namin ni Kris. Kung masasabi lang lahat, marami. Si Kris kapatid ko, ah, maraming magagandang bagay, maraming hini magagandang bagay,” Boy said.

According to Kris, she will only be a part of “The Buzz” show until December of this year but she will definitely make her stay worthwhile.

Boy Abunda also admitted that Kris is one of the reasons he was interested in going back to school once again. He said that he also wanted to broaden her perspective and that he wanted to learn a lot of things even at his age. His goal at this time is not to get more popularity but to train more future aspirants in hosting talk shows. In the long run, he plans on investing and producing a talk show where he could get a new breed for intellectual and credible talk show hosts.

Valerie “Bangs” Garcia will be the next Maxim cover girl. After her brief exposure during the Close-Up to Fame show, she was able to build  name for herself. She’s now 21 years old and has already been chosen to promote in a liquor commercial. She also appeared in ABS-CBN’s Let’s Go.

“I’m still consistently going out with the guy na tinatanong nila (reporters) before. Just one guy. Kasi magulo pag madami kang ka-date. I’m happy now. I won’t say we’re serious but it’s going there. I know his family na. Yung family ko kasi nasaDavao, so parang second family ko na rin sila. Ang bait kasi nila sobra,” she admitted.

“It’s really going to be my first ever solo sexy magazine cover. Abangan sana ng mga tao. Medyo na-warm up na ako to do a sexy shoot because I already did the calendar. Nauna kasi yun. TV host-comedian Willie Revillame’s home in Corinthian Hills in Quezon City was robbed last Saturday, November 1, 2008. The host at that time was on vacation in Tagaytay and went directly to Subic afterwards and just found out the incident early this morning at 3 am.

According to the actor, his very expensive watch is gone together with his other personal belongings. Though he did not mention the total amount of what was lost, we assume that it’s a big amount considering that his vault was also open.

Willie find it very disappointing that despite of his home’s value being it located in a gated subdivision, it is still not safe for a homeowner like him. It’s very hard to point fingers at this time according to Willie but he’s wondering how the robber would have known where his keys to the vault are hidden.

During this morning’s interview with “Umagang Kay Ganda,” the SOCO [Scene of the Crime Operatives] were at the scene to investigate the said robbery incident.

Here are the upcoming shows for ABS-CBN’s Primetime 2009:

1. Another sure hit is being shot by Judy Ann Santos and Moon River. It’s the “Humingi Ako Sa Langit” which will be aired early this 2009.

2, “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka” is another drama series that is co-production by ABS-CBN and Double Vision.

3. Who can beat ABS-CBN’s fantaseryes. There will still be upcoming shows during Primetime Bida this coming year. Among the shows on the list are: Super Inggo Book 2, Nardong Putik, and Utoy

4. Pinoy Fear Factor hasn’t premiered on air and yet there is the next Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 3 coming up next year. PBB Season 3 will also follow and then another PBB Teen Edition coming in too.

5. “National Bingo Night” is a new game that will premiere next year. The host is yet to be revealed so stay tuned.

6. 1 vs 100 will also be back. It will still be hosted by Edu Manzano.

7. After Tiny Tony, Dragona is going to be shown in ABS-CBN which will be portrayed by Shaina Magdayao. Komiks Presents is coming up with “Flash Bomba” after Dragona.

8. Wu Chun and Jerry Yan fans get ready as “Hot Shot” can be watched also next year. Hot Shot is currently airing in Taiwan.

9. Prince Hours is the new male version of Princess Hours. This will be shown on your TV sets although a lot of critics say Princess Hours is far better, we still have to stay tuned and watch out ourselves.

It is now confirmed that Dingdong Dantes and Karylle has taken on separate paths. There have been a lot of speculations regarding the separation. There were rumors about Karylle being pregnant which could be the reason of the breakup. However, the biggest chunk of speculation was the possibility of Dingdong and Marian having an affair.

Reporters were expecting an interview from Karylle and Dingdong but it has already been a week since Dingdong Dantes came from the United States and the interview did not happen.

Dingdong confirms that he is now enjoying his singlehood and do not have plans of getting in a relationship after what has happened to him and Karylle.  But many did not believe him and they do believe that there is something between him and Marian at this time.

And though Marian did not really come into the picture, many believed that the Dingdong-Karylle relationship would have not gone far anyway.

We’ve always loved watching films that scare the nuts out of us and even though we do not have Steven Spielberg’s imagination and budget for the state of the art technology, the Philippine Movie making industry still brings out the very good horror flicks.

Here are the list of the movies which made it to the top ten:

1. Shake Rattle and Roll II (Episode 3: Aswang) - This was the episode lead by Manilyn Reynes, Ana Roces, and Aljon Jimenez. Manilyn was invited by friend Ana Roces for a town fiesta celebration not knowing that she will be offered for a spiritual ceremony.

2. Sukob - This horror movie stars Claudine Baretto and Kris Aquino. The two played half sisters but not aware of each other’s existence. The story focused on their wedding which happened within the same year.

3. Feng Shui - Joy was played by Kris Aquino who works and found a Bagua for their home. As the bagua brings her good fortune, somebody from her family dies.

4. Ouija - It is a story where the characters indulge themselves into the famous game, spirit of the glass.
5. Pasiyam - The story is about a popular Philippine tradition wherein family members offer prayers on the ninth day their loved one dies. This was played by Aubrey Miles.

6. Sigaw - Richard Gutierrez plays the role of a guy who hears strange things from his new apartment. He had to deal with the plea of a neighbor he didn’t know had a mysterious past.

7. Patayin Mo Sa Sindak si Barbara (1974) - Susan Roces starred in this very original film iin 1974. The story revolved on the revenge of her sister who committed suicide because of jelousy.

8. Impaktita - Every night Jean Garcia plays aswang. Not knowing that she is an adopted child and would eventually turn into a real and permanent aswang on her 18th birthday.

9. Tiyanak - This is the story where the famous line “Anak ni Janice” came from. The movie is about a very beautiful baby who turned into monster.

10. Halimaw sa Banga - It was “Matet’s” big break in the showbiz.  The big jar houses a monster which causes a lot of people die.

Remember how the very first Shake, Rattle & Roll terrified the hell out of your nerves when you were a kid? How time flies so fast and we are now about to see Shake, Rattle & Roll X.  Among the main cast of the new horror movie are Diana Zubiri, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Jean Garcia, Roxanne Guinoo, and JC de Vera.

This movie will be the tenth installment of the horrific movie sequel which has only become better and more terrifying as technology also changes.

Regal Entertainment started with a pictorial last October 21 at the Valencia residence which is owned by Mothey Lily Monteverde.  The movie will be among the contenders in the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival.

As always there will be three stories locked in the movie. The first cut will be “Nieves” which is directed by Mike Tuviera and written by Penny Tuviera. This will be lead by Marian Rivera. The second story is titled “Class Picture” directed by Topel Lee and written by Cheryl Narvasa. Kim and Gerald will lead in the said story. While the last is titled “Emergency” which is written by Ellen Estrada and directed by Michael.  Leading in the said episode will be Roxanne Guinoo and JC de Vera.

Could it be that Alessandra de Rossi hasn’t moved on yet with her past issue with Toni Gonzaga? It was many years ago when Both Toni and Alessandra got linked to a particular guy in showbiz. This was Jeremy Marquez who became Alessandra’s first boyfriend but later became Toni’s.

Today during the Wowowee show, Alessandra was invited to be Willy’s co host for the day while Pokwang is out of the country to do a series of international shows. Toni Gonzaga on the other hand was also a guest on the same show to promote her movie “My Only U.”

Apparently, one Wowowee staff witnessed how the two snubbed each other when they bumped with into one another. Obviously, one of them has not moved on yet. But who could it be then?

The Philippine Movie Press Club or better known as the PMPC Star awards has already presented their list of nominees for this coming 2008 Star awards for television.

There was a lot of celebration, sighs and hurt whispers after knowing the outcome of the said nomination. Receiving two acting nominations is Ms. Angel Locsin, while many were wondering why Marian Rivera did not get a single nomination from PMPC.

Among her nominations was the Best Single Performance by an actress for her Maalaala Mo Kaya appearance for the episode “Pilat.” Among her contenders were veteran actresses like Helen Gamboa for her starring role in “Mesa,” Susan Roces for “Basura,” Gloria Romero for “Singsing,” and Shaina Magdayao for “Telebisyon.”

Angel’s second nomination is for the Best Drama Actress category. She is nominated for her starring role in “Lobo.” Though Marian was recognized by the said award giving body in 2006 as Best New Female TV Personality, she was snubbed this year.
