New Alzheimer’s Test – TYM

There is a new Alzheimer’s test called “Test Your Memory” (TYM). It is not at all a diagnostic test but merely an early screening test which could be a good and safe way to check if you need to get further test regarding Alzheimer’s disease.

The new alzheimer’s test includes about 10 tasks. Tests such as ability to recall a sentence read from a book, some simple math calculations, and simple quiz like test such as name countries that start with “J”.

Each test is given a score and the maximum score anybody can get is 50 points. People who have no history of mental problems always score higher and they finish faster.

The nice thing about TYM is that it can be done even at home. It is practically self-administered.
