The Philippines is said to be a nation of divided families. About 10 million Filipinos are working abroad to give their families a more comfortable life. Some work abroad as domestic helpers or utility or maintenance personnel with salaries ranging from P15,000 to P20,000 a month. They reasoned out that they wouldn’t earn that amount here in our country.
