Melanie Oudin, 17, credits boyfriend Austin Smith, 15, to be one of those who aids her with her sparring and even to the designing of her Adidas shoes. Oudin was able to beat Nadia Petrova in her latest battle.
It was the idea of Melanie Oudin boyfriend to stamp the word “believe” on her Adidas shoes instead of her name. Smith is two years younger than Oudin. But their relationship seems to be working well for Oudin’s career.
“I can believe now that I can beat these girls,” says Oudin. An inspiration makes a lot of difference.
