Is TV host Mariel Rodriguez, funny or annoying when she does her hosting chores? Mariel is one of the co-hosts of Willie Revillame in Wowowee at the Kapamilya Network. She also hosts Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 Uplate.

Undoubtedly, Mariel is extremely beautiful and bubbly. She smiles a lot and laughs a lot too.

People’s Journal Entertainment Columnist Remy Umerez says Mariel’s “awful way of hosting doesn’t compliment her beauty.”

I agree with this veteran columnist. Mariel shouts a lot and it’s not even entertaining. I always watch Pinoy Big Brother Uplate and I am annoyed by the way she delivers news about the housemates.

Of course there are times when she’s really funny. But there are also times when I cannot comprehend what she’s saying.

So dear Mariel, why not take a crash hosting course with Tony Gonzaga who’s getting better every day?

mariel is so not annoying! she really hosts well. nakakagising nga sya sa uplate and she gives the audience of wowowee that energy a noontime show should have.
noone will watch uplate and noone will wait up to 1-2am just to watch a show if the host is not good or if the host is annoying. i think she’s doing a great job.

Sorry shouting IMO isn’t exactly my definition of good hosting which Mariel effortlessly pulls off.. I know Wowowee is supposedly lively and energetic show, but I think you can also project zealousness without shouting.. With regards to the topic, I perfectly understand if people like her style of hosting, that’s their opinion, as for mine, she annoys me..

I was recently in the Philippines and saw Mariel on Wowowee for the first time. I agree she does shout a lot! but she’s not annoying. She seems a really nice person. When Janelle left she sounded so upset!

annoying???? bakit????that’s what other people’s opinion, para sa akin she is not annoying, she’s been an MTV VJ and that says it all, dahil ba sa boses? o sa pagsasalita niya? Palengkera??? such strong words naman, I think she has her own style of hosting and that in time eventually, it will get better.
before YES! but the fact that luis manzano love her …i think i over judged her…goodluck to both of them!!!!

yah…she really is annoying. i used to appreciate her beauty,coz she really is pretty. but when she went inside the pbb.. duh? very maarte sobra. she always cry and very mapapel. they often backbite people inside the haus which is very disgusting.

i dont find mariel annoying. not at all. she may shouts a little bit, she may have a weird laugh or she may break your eardrums but thats not annoying. its what you call ENTERTAINMENT. ano ba dapat pag inentertain ang tao? dapat ba BULUNGAN ito? hindi dbaa?
