Besides she claims to have Japanese and Chinese heritage, well, she better watch out because China is one of the major polluters in world. It is only a matter of time before she gets “deselected” for being an idiot.

Im from Makati. Our house got flooded in during the storm. My grandmother had to be carried out of the house and had to take shelter at the local Barangay hall. During this time of hardship, I was fortunate to witness the generosity and willingness of my fellow pinoys to help, when they could have just run off to higher ground and find shelter.

All I can say to these losers is “Fu* Y**!” If I find out who you losers are and I see you on the streets, I will naturally de-select you with my fists!

i know it’s horrible to make comments at a time like this but humans do kind of deserve this kind of thing because they don’t respect the environment. i’ll only correct the way Lizard Man and Makati Girl say these things by saying not only Filipinos but the rest of the world have contributed to the bad things Mother Nature is doing in order to have revenge. my prayers are with Ondoy’s victims.

all i could say is while, yes, filipinos do share a part of the fault in this tragedy, it is just plain wrong to be insensitive about it! it’s fine to comment about how filipinos are insensitive to the environment but it doesn’t mean you have the license to be insensitive about your fellow countrymen. this is the problem with self-righteous people. tell me if you have NEVER littered the streets and ALWAYS picked up what mess you see in the streets when you pass by and i will say you’re a saint who doesn’t deserve all these lambasting.

It is really disturbing reading something like this. It’s like these people are saying that Filipinos are so bad. Ms. Makati Girl and Mr. Lizard Man this is something that is happening not just in the Philippines but in any country around the world. Vietnam, Indonesia, Samoan Islands and as far as I can remember something like this (flash flood) happened in CHINA. Plus remember that earthquake that hit your country before? I am not arguing with you but just opening your eyes that all of us have something to do with this. Have you seen Al Gore’s inconvenient truth? Watch it please. The countries with the worse pollution and has the biggest contribution on this global warming crisis is CHINA. Please study it well. I hope, instead of saying something negative about another country, we just help each other in fixing this problem. Prevention is always better than cure.

You claimed your Chinese right?
Here’s to you-
1. Why is it that China towns all over the US are the dirtiest, seediest place you will ever find in any State?
2. In Hawaii (where I’m from) they burned the whole Chinatown in 1900 because it was so filthy and harbors all kinds of vermins and cleaning it was impossible. Even to this day it is the haven or drug addicts, pushers, prostitutes, thieves and menagerie of illegal activities. A place you avoid in Honolulu is the CHINA town.
Additionally, the Chinese brought Leprosy (local term Mai Pake -translated the Chinese Evil in Hawaiian). A lot of Hawaiians and other ethnic groups are afflicted with the disease at that time BUT we did not blame all the Chinese.
3.) I am a Hawaiian Filipino, I visited the Philippines last year, went to the so called Chinatown in Manila and sure enough it is the FILTHIEST place.
