The Asian Star Entertainment Awards will be awarding Laarni Lozada and Bugoy Drilon as the Most Promising Female and Male Performers of 2008. This is after the two new breed of singers won the phenomenal title of being the Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 Grand Star Dreamer (Laarni) and Pinoy Dream Academy Second Place Winner (Bugoy).
This is a big break for the 22 year old Laarni and we think she deserves it. She signed a year’s worth of contract with Star Records last September 30 and we know that this will not be her first and last.
She is beginning to conquer the hearts of many. We just heard that she has already received numerous congratulatory messages and gifts from Filipinos all over the world who have also organized a Laarni International Fans Club.
