KC Concepcion Is Grateful But Wants To Make Her Own Name in Showbiz

“Ang hirap lang minsan parang palagi kaming kinu-compare. Mommy ko sya at ang laki ng respeto ko sa mommy ko. Sana huwag na lang kaming i-compare, di ba? I mean, 30 years na rin po ang experience nya. Ako, ilang taon ko pa lang at marami pa rin po akong pagdadaanan.” These are the exact words of KC Concepcion when asked about her feelings whenever she is being compared to her mom, Sharon Cuneta.

KC thinks that she has finally moved slightly away from her mom’s shadow after the phenomenal success of her movie with Richard Gutierrez titled “When I Met You.” She even commented that Sharon and Kiko were very proud of her and that her movie reminds them of Sharon’s movies which made big hits in the 80’s.

Although KC has emerged with a lot of better young actresses her age, she has always been humble and readily accepted her capabilities since she does not have all the experiences the other lady actresses have had. “Alam kong mas maraming experience ang ibang artistang kaedad ko ngayon na hindi pa kilala ang pagkatao ko talga. Pero pati sila, may judgment. Pero, it’s okay. I mean, sobrang grateful lang na naa-ppreciate naman ng tao ang effort ko na gumawa ng mabuting work sa trabahong ‘to.”
