Katrina Joins Marimar Cast

Katrina Halili is definitely not envious of Marian Rivera. Marian has been chosen to play the lead role in Marimar. It is her first time to star in a TV drama at GMA Kapuso network to be shown at prime time.

Katrina, who’s FHM’s sexiest Filipina for two years now, says what is important is the projects she’s been getting from GMA 7. She’s happy that she always has a show at GMA. It all started with Darna, then she was also included in Majika, Atlantika and her latest top rating TV action drama Lupin.

Katrina is also part of Marimar. She plays a meaty role here as Angelica, the young wife of Richard Gomez, father of Dingdong Dantes who is Marimar’s love interest in the drama.

She also said she’s happy that her friend and co-star at Lupin, Ehra Madrigal, was chosen to replace her as the new Tanduay girl.
