Jamal Bana Pictures
It is painful to see your son dead and more painful to see his pictures with gun shot wounds in the head in another country. That’s what Abayte Ahmed and her husband experienced. On July 11, a family acquaintance phone them and ask them to check on an internet site. Jamal Bana (picture above), their son was dead. His father broke down in tears when he saw the photos. He was killed in Somalia.
Jamal Bana’s parents said they believe their son was brainwashed and recruited to fight in the civil war between Somalia’s unstable transitional government and Al-Shabaab.
United States FBI believed that Jamal was recruived in the US by a Somali terrorist group called Al-Shabaab.
