Brace yourself for another “Deep Impact” and “Armaggedon” type of movie called “Impact”.    The  Impact movie will be shown on June 21 and Jun 28 (9p to 11p) on ABC.

Impact Movie Synopsis

A spectacular meteor shower streaks towards earth.  Unknown to the whole world, a brown dwarf is hidden deep inside the meteor field.   A brown dwarf is a dead star with massive gravitational field.

The brown dwarf smashes into the moon with a tremendous force resulting in explosion of rock and debris.    Some of the fragments of the moon hurled into space towards the earth and make impact.

Experts on Earth thought it was the end of it and there were no lasting effects.   However, strange things started happening on the Earth such as cell phone disruptions, odd tidal behavior.

Later on these experts found out about the brown dwarf that hit the moon and it causes a change in the moons orbit which left the two heavenly bodies (Earth and Moon) on a collision course.

The whole humanity has only 39 days to stop the moon and Earth from colliding.  How will they stop it?  Will they destroy the moon?  Will they send atomic bombs to change the moon’s orbit.
