Ronnie Liang may not be the Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Champion but he can be as popular as the Grand Winner, Yeng Constantino.
For one, Ronnie is very good looking and towering at 6 feet tall.
Showbiz insiders said that Ronnie has the makings of a singer-matinee idol. When Universal Records took him to SM Bacoor to promote his debut album titled “Ang Aking Awitin”, a lot of fans lined up patiently to have his autograph.
Ronnie is just too happy that a lot of people have already purchased his album.
Universal Records wants him to be the Prince of Balladeers so they gave him 14 good songs to sing in his album. The carrier single “Ang Aking Awitin” is a duet with Nikki Gil. The first single “Ngiti” is an original composition by Vince Katindoy. He also has a song for Filipinos working abroad “Kung Ako’y Uuwi” by Ito Rapadas.
Ronnie’s album also boasts of heartfelt remakes of the popular songs” Nag-iisang Ikaw”, “Nais Ko”, “Saan Darating ang Umaga”, “Kaibigan Mo”, and “Gusto Kita”.
Ronnie is also set to leave today (April 9) to do a series of shows with the other PDA scholars in Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles.
