Get To Know Drae Ybañez

He didn’t make it to the top 3 of the Philippine Idol but this doesn’t mean Drae Ybañez is no talent.

As a matter of fact, Drae is one of the most vocally-equipped among the guys who made it to the top 12 of the prestigious competition.
�
Drae’s rendition of Gary Valenciano’s “Hang On” is indeed among the best songs in the Philippine Idol Final 12’s album.
�
This guy, fondly called Spiderman by Mamita and Francis M. (because he looks like Tobey Maguire), joined the competition primarily to get funds for the organization for streetchildren that he’s trying to revive.
�
Drae wanted to win because he needed the money for his charity project.
�
But of course, singing for him is a passion. He also wanted to be a successful singer.
�
Now that Philippine Idol is over, Drae plans to pursue his singing career and continue his volunteer work as well.
