Frank McCort
Frank McCourt, author of Pulitzer prize winning “Angela’s Ashes” died last Sunday at age 78 from melanoma.
Last May 2009 it was reported that he had been treated with melanoma which is the deadliest form of skin cancer. On July 19, 2009, he died of malignant melanoma at a hospice in Manhattan.
Frank’s award wining work Angela’s Ashes detailed his own life story and sold over 4 millions copies worldwide. It was published in 27 countries and has been translated into 17 language.
