My Only Ü Reaches 74.25 Million Gross On Its 3rd Week

“My Only U” has now reached 74.25 Million after three weeks of showing. Starring Toni Gonzaga and Vhong Navarro, the Star Cinema’s movie “My Only Ü” has now officially been included in the list of box-office hits.

“My Only U” fifth top grossing film for the year 2009 is a romantic comedy movie even surpassing other movie hits like “My Big Love” and “Supah Papalicious” both by Toni Gonzaga and Vhong Navarro.

Angel Locsin and Sam Milby To Do A “Lovers in Paris” Remake

Angel Locsin is not going to have a restful vacation all along. After her busy scheduled shooting in Bukidnon for the movie “Land Down Under” with co-star actor Piolo Pascual, Angel Locsin will again be busy with another new ABS-CBN project for the year 2009.

Angel will be teaming up with Sam Milby for a Philippine Remake of the Korean tv series “Lovers in Paris.” Angel will be playing the role of Vivian (or Jodi) while hopefully, Sam Milby plays the role of the rich and snobbish businessman Carlo (or Tristan). This will excite a lot of fans although the ABS-CBN management has yet to release the final casting of the upcoming television series.

It was in Maalaala Mo Kaya episode in 2007 where Angel Locsin and Sam Milby first teamed up and their chemistry thrilled a lot of viewers ever since. So the television series is really a very good news.

After My Girl, “Lovers in Paris” is only the second koreanovela to be localized by ABS-CBN.

New Hit and Primetime Shows in TV 5

When you feel there are times when you have to switch channels, you better try switching it to Channel TV5. It has all the new shows that will also entertain you.

TV5 is NOT owned by ABS-CBN. TV5 is owned by Businessman Tony Boy Cojuanco and a Malaysian media company Prima Media Berhad.

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson Share Their Rome, Italy Experience

Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu just got back from their two-week vacation and at the same time working trip in Rome, Italy. This October proved to be a worthwhile month for the two as they felt inspired and more blessed after hearing mass presided by Pope Benedict XVI.

Since their shows only happened on weekends, the two had more than enough time to shop but not from high-end boutiques since items there are extremely expensive so they contented themselves in buying items sold by sidewalk vendors. “Oo, sa gilid-gilid lang kami naka-pagshopping ng mga damit and boots na worth 15 Euros. Pero halos puro pambabae lang yung mga binebenta so si Gerald tagabuhat na lang. Tapos yung isa pang nakakatuwang Pinoy tourist experience namin dun eh yung na-miss naming magkanin. Nagsawa kami ng puro pasta at pizza lang ang available sa mga restaurants. So yun na lang ginawa namin. Maghanap ng Chinese restaurants kasi ‘di ba dun lang nagseserve ng kanin. Naglakad kami ng malayo para lang sa kanin,” Kim cheerfully shared.

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson will be going to Canada next for a series of shows by the end of November.

Judy Ann Santos and Her Biggest ‘Fear Factors’

Judy Ann Santos has also revealed her biggest Fear Factors. According to Judy Ann among her “Fear Factors” are her Mommy Carol, Alfie Lorenzo and her fiancé Ryan Agoncillo.

When asked why these names came up she explained, “It’s because I love them so much and I would not want to argue with these peope.”

“Hindi ka makapag-concentrate sa ginagawa mo, tapos ang bigat-bigat ng dibdib mo kasi alam mo na at the back of your mind, mayroon kang hindi pagkakaunawaan sa kanila, kaya ganoon,” she shared.

Judai also explained how she conquered her fear of her Tito Alfie. That was when she had to approach her to apologize after the incident about the ABS-CBN contract. Judy Ann apparently consulted her lawyer about the contract which disappointed Alfie, thinking that Judy Ann is not trusting his judgment anymore.

Judy mentioned that in the past whenever she has to talk to Alfie, she would have to talk to him with her older brother Jeffrey Santos or have to drink red wine just to gain strength before their meeting. But after the incident about the contract she pulled herself together without asking anyone to accompany her or a sip of red wine. “Parang I’ve realized that I have to do this alone,” the actress said.

Now Judy Anne and Alfie are back in good terms and Judai has finally signed the contract with ABS-CBN last week.

There are some rumors that speculates Sam Milby’s courtship for KC Concepcion. However, it seems that Sam’s ex-girlfriend, Anne Curtis does not favor Sam’s new choice.

We received reports that Anne is still hurt after their breakup and that she has not gotten over her feelings for Sam until now making many fans torn. Fans wanted to be happy for Sam but at the same time, they can feel Anne’s sentiments. Showbizjuice reports that they have heard Anne Curtis badmouthing KC Concepcion and for sure, KC wouldn’t like what she’s about to hear.

John Lloyd Surprised Sarah On Her Concert

Last November 8, there was a big roar coming from Sarah Geronimo fans when John Lloyd Cruz surprisingly showed up on stage while Sarah was singing their “A Very Special Love” movie theme song. The crowed kept on cheering making it difficult for everyone to hear Sarah’s voice. Even KC Concepcion and Anne Curtis were there cheering for the two while doing a sun-dance on stage.

After the song A Very Special Love, Sarah and John Lloyed sang another love song hit by SmokeyMountain in the 90’s titled “Kailan.”

During an interview, John said he was very happy the way the crowd welcomed him with Sarah on stage. He never thought it was going to be that warm when in fact, they have only done a single film together.

“It’s really phenomenal. A Very Special Love is really phenomenal and people are excited to see the part two. At napag-uusapan na siya,” said John Lloyd.
