ENPRESS Golden Screen Awards

It’s all systems go for the ENPRESS (Entertainment Press Society) Golden Screen Awards on March 17 at the AFP Theater in Quezon City.

Competing for best drama are “Kaleldo” and “Ligalig”; for best comedy or musical, “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo”, “I Wanna Be Happy”, “Don’t Give Up On Us”, “Manay Po” and “Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah”; and for best digital film, “Batad Sa Daang Palay”, “Donsol”, “Compound”, “Inang Yaya”, “Manoro”, and “Kubrador”.

The nominees for the much-coveted best actress in a drama movie award are Andrea del Rosario and Mylene Dizon (for the movie Rome and Juliet), Angel Aquino (Donsol), Cherry Pie Picache (Kaleldo), Gina Pareno (Kubrador) and Maricel Soriano (Inang Yaya).

For the best actor in a drama movie award, the nominees are Johnny Delgado (Kaleldo), Chris Galura (Batad), John Arcilla (Compound), Jericho Rosales (Pacquiao) and Cesar Montano for the movie “Ligalig”.

Newcomers Kim Chiu (First Day High), Jonalyn Ablong (Manoro), Maja Salvador (Sukob) and Erika Oreta and Tala Santos (Inang Yaya) vie for Breakthrough Performance by an actress award.

Gerald Anderson (First Day High), Jake Macapagal (Compound), Jason Abalos (All About Love), Jett Pangan (Tulad ng Dati), Sid Lucero (Donsol), and Sam Milby (You are the One) compete for Breakthrough Performance by an actor award.
