For those who don’t know Mia Michaels, she is the the lady choreographer who was best known for her choreography work on the tv show So You Think You Can Dance. There were reports earlier that she is leaving the said show. In fact, FOX already confirmed this and according to reports, executive producer Nigel Lythgoes released the following statement.

“We are thrilled to have given a talent such as Mia Michaels a platform to create Emmy Award-winning choreography. During the auditions this season she has helped choose the best, most diverse top 20 we have ever had. She knows that she is always welcome to return later this season or next. She’s chosen to move on to new challenges and we will continue to support her and wish her all the best.”

Probably because of this, a lot of speculations about why she is leaving came out. The most serious speculation I found was that she might have cancer. I was browsing around the celebrity news industry and checking out what’s currently hot about entertainment and I was surprised to see a lot of people doing searches about “Mia Michaels Cancer” and “Mia Michaels shaved her head“.

Even in twitter, people are talking about her shaved head which is probably why there were speculations about cancer.
