Could 2007 Be Yeng Constantino’s Year?

Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Star Dreamer Yeng Constantino’s hit song “Hawak-Kamay” was voted as the Best Movie Theme Song during the recently-concluded 32nd Filmfest awards night.

It was the theme song of an equally hit movie “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo” starring real sweethearts Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

Could this be just a glimpse of what’s in store for the young lady this 2007?

Yeng is definitely a star in her own right now. She has the lovely voice and the talent to compose good songs.
�
She got an overwhelming number of votes from PDA fans making her the first PDA grand champion. She garnered 37% of the votes to beat 5 other co-scholars.

Jay-R Siaboc got the 2nd place with 32% and Ronnie Liang have 27%.

This simple lady who just turned 18 joined the contest to help her family financially. Now that she won, she’s happy to have the title (and all the prizes that go with it) and be able to help her family at the same time.

A bright future is in store for Yeng. But she still hasn’t forgotten her dream to become a successful songwriter.

Good luck Yeng! Sing a new song this time. It’s no longer “Hawak-kamay” but “Abot Kamay”. All your dreams are now within your reach.
