Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalie Portman star in Brothers movie, 2009 possible year-ender hit.
Tobey Maguire’s role (Captain Sam Cahill) tackles the struggles of a marine who unexpectedly survived a tragic incident in Afghanistan. While being thought to be dead, Cahill’s wife (Natalie Portman) and children are left under the care of his brother, Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal). The twist begins when Captain Sam Cahill surprisingly returns to United States.
Based on the Danish film BRDRE, Brothers will be released in theaters on December 4.

damn i thought the movie was coming out earlier. Thanks for that 
I’m totally expecting this to get some oscar buzz–modern war movie with an all star cast. And I love the plot. SOOO excited!

I saw it Saturday and it was really the best movie i’ve seen in a long time. Tobey Maguire was so intense! He’ll def get an Oscar for this!!
