Another Pinay singer becomes a YouTube sensation

Since YouTube started its debut in 2005, it has become one of the most popular online hubs for those who wish to shine and make a name for themselves. YouTube opened doors and opportunities to aspirants who want to enter showbiz such as internet diva Alyssa Alano, famous for her ‘Kiss Me’ stint; singing sensation Charice Pempengco; and even the recently crowned Miss World-Philippines Janina San Miguel.

Now, after Charice Pempengco took the world by storm, another Filipina is going to make a name of her own and will sing her way into the hearts of online audiences.

Madonna Decena, 32 years old, is a club singer based in the United Kingdom. She joined the popular Britain’s Got Talent, with her superb rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.

The Pinay hopeful has made it to the semi-finals of the auditions and got a very good compliment from Simon Cowell, one of the three judges of the show.

“If you’ve got talent, you’ve got talent [and] I absolutely loved it.”
