Agot Isidro Will Play Antagonist In ‘Tayong Dalawa’

Many viewers are already anticipating the premiere of Tayong Dalawa in January 2009. But aside from the kilig tandem of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, Agot Isidro’s first ever kontrabida role is proving to be another must-see. “Oo nga eh. Actually tingnan natin ‘yan. Diyos ko, talagang tagisan ng acting ito kasi ang mga kasama ko dito sila Cherry Pie Picache, sila Tita Gina Pareño, Tita Anita Linda so nakakahiya kung hindi ako magpe-perform ng mabuti ‘di ba?” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN.com.

As a matter of fact, she has taken great pains to ensure that she will be fully prepared for her role as Elizabeth, Jake Cuenca’s mother and the rival of Cherry Pie Picache. “Nag-workshop na kami tapos meron pang isang workshop. Siguro talagang we have to discuss with the director kung ano talaga yung character and how to attack it. Kasi yung character ko meron siyang pinagdaanan na paghihirap. Hindi yung paghihirap na poverty kundi abuse from her father. So maraming mga nangyayari kaya kailangan talaga tutukan kung paano yun ipo-portray,” she revealed.

When asked if viewers will be getting a lot of memorable lines from her teleserye character similar to that of Isadora in Iisa Pa Lamang, Agot simply replied, “Sana ‘di ba? Basta ang masasabi ko na lang, a-outfit ako dito. Ako lang ata ang fashionista dito kasi yung family lang ata naming ang pwedeng bumihis ng todo.”
