Adam Lambert, the crowd favorite in the recent American Idol Season 8 graced the cover of the prestigious “Rolling Stone” Magazine. In this issue of Rolling stones magazine, Adam Lambert bares it all.

“I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay. Right after the ["American Idol"] finale I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler.’ I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing and the celebrity-magazine [blather]. I need to be able to explain myself in context.”

With all the drag pictures and Adam lambert Kissing photos, I guess many people, specially his fans were not surprised when he revealed that he is indeed gay.

Now if you can remember, Kris Allen was his room mate. Would you like to know what he said about him?

“I was like, ‘Oh [crap], they roomed me with the cute guy.’ Distracting? He’s the one guy that I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife.”

There was even a photo taken with his rumored boyfriend Drake Labry at the
Guys and Dolls nightclub in West Hollywood last June 1, 2009.

I really don’t think this issue about him being gay matters right now in his career. I guess its just like “alright, now that everybody knows he’s gay, let’s close the issue and move on”. I think everyone would be more surprised if he says he’s not gay.
