ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) has been on the top google search this past few hours due to an expose’ done by James O’Keefe, 25-year-old independent filmmaker who exposed how Baltimore ACORN advised them how to avoid paying taxes, cheat IRS, and how to get away with running a prostitution house in Baltimore.

How did James did it? One day, he posed as a pimp with a 20 yr old girl named Kenya who posed as a prostitute while the visited the Baltimore Acorn office.

If you check out acorn’s website, it says

“ACORN is now providing free tax preparation for low and moderate income families in partnership with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Preparation (VITA) program.”

So the Acorn people goes on to “help” the prostitute get a housing loan. First was to make it a “legal business”. How will they do it? The people from ACORN would need to categorize “prostitution” into some form or legal business like “performing arts” so there would be a “code” for it (probably for the 1090 Tax Form Schedule C).

The supposed “prostitute” goes to say she makes about $9000 a month and the “tax expert” starts thinking of how to get away from paying taxes like tax deductions from business expenses. According to the “tax expert” she can probably write off “probably at least $7000″.
