After all the speculations about Diether Ocampo’s transfer to GMA network, it was finally revealed that Diet will be staying with ABS-CBN and already has a project lined up for him with Angelica Panganiban.
Diet and Angelica will be playing the lead roles in the Philippine version of the Mexican telenovela hit in 2004 “Rubi.” After their successful team up in the primetime series ABS-CBN “Iisa Pa Lamang,” the management chose the two to play the roles of Rubi who was portrayed by Barbara Mori and Alejandro played by the latino hunk Sebastian Rulli.
There is a trivia about Angelica Panganiban’s role though. The Rubi role was said to have been first offered to Kristine Hermosa but since the actress is already a Born Again Christian, she has declined the role which is why ABS-CBN handed it down to Angelica instead.

ewan ko ba sa mga artista although hindi naman lahat pero mostly nagpapalitan lang ng partners!!!
kaya ba nag kalat na ngaun ang HIV/STI? un ba un hehehehe……..
