Vilma Santos is now certified Kapamilya star. She already signed another two year contract with ABS-CBN last November 27, 2008. Among the bosses who witnessed the event were Charo Santos-Concio, Malou Santos and Gabby Lopez. “I miss showbiz. Dito na rin kasi ako lumaki, lahat ng nakikita ko dito, lahat, old friends,” says Vilma.
Vilma’s last movie was around five years ago with Regal Films which was Mano Po 3. She did a cameo role for Star Cinema for ‘D Lucky Ones’ in 2006 but this was technically her last since she became very busy with her political career.
She will start filming a movie with her son Luis Manzano with John Lloyd Cruz early next year.
