Lorna Tolentino Is Now Officially A Kapamilya Star

Lorna Tolentino has officially signed the contract for a 2 year working relationship with ABS-CBN. The legal papers have been presented by President Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN Head for TV Production Cory Vidanes, Star Cinema Managing Director Malou Santos, and Lorna’s manager Lolit Solis.

Lorna confirmed that her network switch was with GMA network’s blessing. “September pa ako nagpaalam. Dinalaw ko sila (GMA executives) at sinabi ko na may offer sa akin ang ABS-CBN na movie, ‘yun talaga kasi ang gusto ko. Okay naman sa kanila,” she said. She also added that she is very confident that the Kapamilya Network will keep her busy and will take care of her career for the next two years and who knows, this could extend for many years to come.

“I would like to work again with John Lloyd and Bea pero alam ko sasabihin ng mga tao pagbabalik lang ng Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay ‘yun (laughs). Pwede rin si Piolo (Pascual), Claudine (Barretto), Angel (Locsin), Sarah (Geronimo). Kung merong iibigay na weekly comedy, pwede rin para medyo light. Kung talk show depende na lang sa tema. Medyo may hesitation kasi ako to do a showbiz-oriented talk show kasi parang I’m not completely healed and ayoko ko munang magtanong sa mga kapwa ko artista while I’m in this stage,” said LT.

She said that she needed to work hard and to receive more projects to lessen her stress and loneliness. This will definitely keep her from missing Rudy Fernandez a lot.
